If your child has been baptized Roman Catholic (or has made a Profession of Faith if baptized in another Christian tradition) and is at least 7 years, in the 2^nd grade, or older they are eligible to begin the process of preparing for these important sacraments. The Archdiocese of Seattle requires two years of religious education (RE) prior to receiving First Holy Communion.

The first year, just the RE class is taken. During the second year of RE, you simultaneously register for the classes to prepare for the sacraments. We do ask for a $30 donation to help defray the expenses.
