The St. Francis of Assisi Pastoral Council Honors Cheryl Brooten

The St. Francis of Assisi Pastoral Council Honors Cheryl Brooten in recognition of her success and devotion as Pastoral Assistant for Faith Formation at St. Francis.

Cheryl seeks continuously to encourage families of the parish to become involved in adult and children's Faith Formation programs.

Prior to joining St. Francis, Cheryl volunteered for years in Faith Formation. Cheryl has gained her inspiration to participate in the ministry from St. Francis de Sailes who said, "Please God by doing everything - big or small enthusiastically and well."

Cheryl also gains strength and direction by beginning her day in prayer. Her major core value is honesty and compassion above all else. She strives daily to faithfully live out God’s will to be successful.

Cheryl is a strong advocate for youth. She feels they need a place and safe people to explore their faith and make it their own.

Cheryl's faith portrays a spirit of optimism, hope, and confidence in God's love.

Thank you Cheryl, we honor you for your love, commitment and selfless giving to all of us at St. Francis. We want you to know how much we appreciate all you give each and every day. Thank you for providing the true spirit of God with a loving and giving heart. God bless you.

One step in creating this climate is the creation of this forum. Read More
