ADMINISTRATION:
Dan Colgan: (After some feedback on this issue) though we would like to help Dan get his stuff back, it is his responsibility to pay for shipping. We did receive a $100 donation and we will ship what we can for that amount.
Family center: Repairs for water intrusion have started. Except for the exterior painting, the parish is not paying for these repairs.
Church pews: Gary K. has been repairing the pews in the front of the church. He will need to add additional wooden supports to the front panels to ensure they are solidly secured to the floor.
FEATURED BUSINESS Please support Burien Press 2 for 1 Drink Special (with bulletin coupon) at 423 SW 152nd Street. Burien.
Sunday Giving via credit cards, EFT and Online giving: The parish has taken steps to increase security of our parishioners’ credit card and EFT information which will exceed federal requirements. 93 families now use these methods for donating to the parish. By late spring, the parish will offer the option of giving online.
“Putting God First”: meets on Thursday in Unity Place, Unit 3, from 7:00-8:30pm. John Eisen and Butch Leonardson co-lead this program on meaning and implications of living our lives as stewards.
Contemplative Prayer Group will meet on Sept. 7th (Tuesday) in the Parish Hall at 7:00pm. We will continue to listen to Fr. Richard Rohr (CD) about St. Francis of Assisi Spirituality- the art of letting go.
