Welcome to our the St. Francis of Assisi website and Parish Family.

I hope that you will find what you are looking for. As you can see we have both a parish and a school website which are easily accessible.

St. Francis is a parish of about 1300 families. We think of ourselves as a welcoming parish. If you come to visit I hope that you will find that to be a true statement. We have active programs in Faith Formation for children as well as adults. We have outreach services for those who are homebound or in the hospital as well as our senior population. Of course we have our school which is an excellent school with many involved parents and children. We have an active liturgy and music program in the parish.

Fr. Dick Hayatsu

As a parish we are here to serve you in whatever way we can. While our staff is limited in numbers as well as working hours, we do our best to respond to your needs and inquiries. You can take a look at the website to see what programs are available and what staff we have. We have a Pastoral Council which helps us discern the goals and priorities for the parish. We have a Finance Council to help us plan our budget and financial needs. We have a School Commission, a Liturgy Commission, and a Faith Formation Commission to help with planning in those areas of ministry.

May you find the information you need as you browse our website. If you have any questions give us a call or email us and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Blessings and peace to you as you move through your day.
Fr. Dick Hayatsu
Pastor

2009 Parish Census:

We want to make sure our parish records are accurate. We want to make sure we have current phone numbers, add email for parish alerts and mailings, accurate family member information: names, ages and sacraments celebrated, listing of occupations and ethnicities. Next week, we will begin mailing out the census form that will list the information we have. Updating your records can be done in two ways: (1) Go to our parish web page and access the secure site that provides you a form to fill out or (2) Mail back to the parish the same census form with corrected and/or added information.

Pastoral Assistant for Administration
